Overview:
This May on the 11th and 12th, the Loganville Fair set up shop at the Loganville town green park. This park offered attractions, food, events, and a fun place to hang out over the weekend. People were able to go on the Ferris wheel, tall swings, a huge slide, and many more enthusiastic rides. This event also had many tents laid out for food and drinks where they offered many sweet treats. Walkthrough: Leo Lopez walks through his time at the fair, “I went to the fair with two of my friends and ended up staying for an hour. We went on the Ferris wheel about twenty times and did the rides that made you puke before we went to eat. After those rides, we got corndogs and caramel apples which were a little bit overpriced. After we finished the fair we went to my friend's house and hung out for a few hours.” Leo says he enjoyed his time at the fair and would go again when he has the chance. He also said he heard about the fair from an ad on Instagram, which was common among WGHS students. Food: At the Loganville fair, the food is as much a part of the experience as the rides and entertainment. They were serving corn dogs, popcorn, fried Oreos, cotton candy, caramel apples, and any other sweet thing you could imagine. However, the cotton candy sold out fast and the fried Oreos had to be made on demand. Ariana Parsons says “When I got off the Ferris wheel I was super hungry, and went to one of the concessions and got the fried Oreos which were super good and only like $6.” Ariana says that the food was super cheap, and she got to enjoy her food after an amazing ride on the Ferris wheel. Entertainment: This fair offered many opportunities to many different people having rides for babies, teens, adults, couples, friends, and anything else you could think of. They had slides and small rides for the young kids, fun and dizzy rides for the teens looking for a thrill, and rides for adults who want to sit down and enjoy their time like the Ferris wheel. The fair also hosted many events and carnival games like the goldfish game where you could win a live goldfish or the clown who was acting out his set. The Loganville Fair provided a weekend of laughter, excitement, and amazing memories for all who attended. As attendees departed, they carried with them the anticipation of returning next year to relive the experience once again. The Blog Tags Widget will appear here on the published site.
