Walnut Grove High School had their homecoming for all students on September 20th, 2025.

Considering that this is his first homecoming being in high school, Marquavis Harris was happy to be there. He went with one of his best friends and had a great time. During the spirit week he was really excited for twin day. “Spirit week, I was excited for the twin days. Me and my best friend were thing 1 and thing 2,” Marquavis stated. Homecoming is a chance to have fun. Would he be back in the future? “Most definitely yes.”
On the other hand, our friend Chira Prather (senior) was sad knowing that this is her last homecoming dance in high school. She made memories and had a fun time every year. “It makes me sad because it’s my last homecoming dance in high school,” she said. She did leave some words for freshmen, “Dance your heart out. People are going to look at you like you are weird but still do it.” For seniors, this homecoming dance was a bittersweet celebration of their last year, yet for freshmen, it marked the beginning of their high school journey. Together, they created a night filled with memories, laughter, and traditions that reminded us all why homecoming is more than just a dance; it’s a milestone.
