During the opening week of football on Thursday, September 3, college football teams all over the U.S. went head-to-head to win it all, with some close games and some absolute blowouts.

There were a couple of instances where some teams were demolished in their games, such as the Bethune-Cookman Wildcats, who completely destroyed the UCF Knights 73-6, making the Knights look like a bunch of kids compared to the Wildcats. On the same day, the Kennesaw State Owls made their win against the West Georgia Wolves look like their warm-ups with a score of 47-0. This means that either the Owls are going on a winning streak this season because they are a powerhouse, or the Wolves are just going to have to work excessively hard this season to get ready for future matchups.

Here are some players with great potential who might even get drafted. First is Arch Manning, a strong-armed Texan quarterback who can run the ball up the field nicely. Another potential pro is Jeremiah Smith, a WR known as one of the best non-QB players in the game right now. Finally, there is Dante Moore, the QB from Oregon, who is conquering the game with a quick release and great downfield touch.

Curt Cignetti, a talented coach from Georgia with many wins under his belt, is now coaching the Indiana Hoosiers. Marcus Freeman, the coach for Notre Dame, continues to build high-level success and strong playoff contention with the Fighting Irish. Dan Lanning, working for the Oregon Ducks, has firmly established his team as an elite national powerhouse, placing himself in the upper echelon of coaches. Kirby Smart from Georgia is one of the few active FBS coaches with multiple national championships, maintaining the Bulldogs as a national standard.

Brauntae Johnson who plays for the The Notre Dame Fighting Irish football team and defensive tackles Jason Oyale suffered injuries during the opener against Wisconsin and are expected to miss a few weeks. Linebacker Kyngstonn Viliamu-Asa returns after recovering from knee surgery.

Early reports listed several notable absences, including Virginia wide receiver Rico Flores Jr. and running back Solomon Beebe, alongside NC State freshman wide receiver Tyreek Copper.
