The movie Heart Eyes came out on February 7th, 2025. Entertainment staff DaNija Thomas gives her opinions and thoughts about the movie.

I really liked the movie and the outcome of it. When I was watching the trailer, I thought it was just a horror movie, something that you would be scared of but it was more of a horror, romance, comedy type of movie. The way Ally and Jay meet each other is most definitely something you would see in romance movies and something you wouldn’t think would have turned out to be horror. I just feel that if maybe they don’t share that kiss the way they do then they wouldn’t have been targeted.
The funny part about it is the killers (and yes I said killers), they only kill couples. So when they are after Ally and Jay, they look confused because they think: "We aren’t a couple, so why are they trying to kill us?" The thing about it is they share a kiss when they see Ally’s ex to make him feel some type of way. The killers see it, and it's like the spark was in the air. There is one part of the movie when they think Jay is the killer because they leave the mask next to him with his initials. At one point, Ally tries to shoot the killer and her aim is so horrible. One of the police officers turns out to be one of the killers which is very shocking because that’s something you wouldn’t expect. But as I was watching the movie, I felt something strange about her. I loved how at the end of the movie, Ally realizes that she actually loves Jay, and they had created a year together since everything had happened. I love how she's unsure if she wanted to go back to the airport and get Jay for his love because if she didn’t, maybe they wouldn’t have created such an amazing love story. With all that being said, I really enjoyed the movie and I definitely recommend anyone to watch it. Tags:
