Since fall has arrived, WGHS Teachers and Students share their perspectives on their fall favorites, including scents, outfits, the fall season, and fall foods. by Nyla Ferguson and Mackenzie Smith Mrs. Shelnutt, who teaches Lit III, gives her input on her fall favorites. “My favorite thing to eat during the fall season is soup... I love the smell of warm vanilla sugar... I really love how a bonfire sounds... My go-to fall outfit is a crewneck sweater with leggings... Overall, I really love fall; it is my favorite season, and one of the main things I love about fall is that you can sit outside without sweating.”
Mr. Hamilton, who teaches advanced algebra and statistics this year, also states his favorite things about the fall season. “My favorite thing to eat during the fall season is sweet potato pie... I enjoy the smell of apple cider in the fall and the sound of leaves crunching on the pavement. My go-to outfit for the fall is a sweatsuit, hoodie, and joggers. Overall, fall is my second favorite season... I love the holidays hosted in the fall, and I love being able to wear warmer clothing.” Mackenzie Malcolm, a junior, gives her opinion on everything fall-related. “My favorite thing to eat during the fall season is macaroni... My favorite fall scent would be apple cinnamon... I love to hear the leaves falling and people decorating for Halloween... A two-piece set with some Ugg boots and that's it... I'm enjoying fall very much because it's getting cold and it's getting closer to my birthday, which is in December.” Noah Summers, a junior, shares his thoughts on the fall season, starting with his favorite fall food. "Honestly, pumpkin pie, I don't know why, but it's so good... Like a pumpkin spice scent... Honestly hearing everyone having fun and a breeze outside... Like baggy pants something very comfortable... I think the fall season is probably the worst season although there's a lot of good things about fall there's also a good thing about every season but i think the fall season is one of those season i tend to forget but I do think its very pretty.” Eli Ferguson, a senior, shares his view on fall, beginning with his top fall food choice: “Probably sweet potato pie... Pumpkin spice candle is a good one... College football and hanging out with friends.... A hoodie, jeans, and probably boots...
