Falling Into The Season of Scents

Since autumn is here, we asked teachers and students from WGHS about their favorite fall scents from Bath & Body Works.

Mrs. Baker, an algebra teacher, shares her thoughts about the seasonal fall scent at Bath & Body Works. “I typically only shop for Bath & Body Works seasonally. I like to buy my children's teacher gifts for teacher appreciation weeks.” Following her favorite scents to indulge in. “Anything cinnamon, it changes names every few years.” She also enjoys candles as they're her favorite fall product to buy. When asked about her rating on candles, she said, “I give it a nine [out of ten] because it doesn't have a wood wick; there are some candles with wooden wicks, but it's a nine.” Lastly, she stated she uses these candles 3-4 times a week during the fall season.

Mrs. Gibson, the theatre teacher and director here at WGHS, comments, “I don't shop at Bath & Body Works frequently, but I'll say I go once every two or three months.” Followed by her favorite fall scent at Bath & Body Works. “I love anything that is apple scented, so cinnamon apple, apple orchard, or apple cider is my favorite.” “During the fall season, my favorite product to buy is a three-wick candle and hand sanitizer that smells different than regular hand sanitizer." Mrs. Gibson rated Bath & Body Works products 7.5 out of 10. “If their prices were lower, it would make the rating higher in my book.” She also states that she uses the products to completion, “If I buy something in the fall, then I will use it all fall, into the winter, and into the spring until it's all gone.”

Grace Weilbrenner, a junior, says, “About once a month, I shop at Bath & Body Works.” She also states that her favorite fall scent is Vampire Blood. When asked about her favorite fall product to buy, she says, “ My favorite product to buy is probably perfume.” She enjoys her fall perfume, giving it a 9/10 and also stating that she wears it most days.
