Halloween is right around the corner, and sure, there are parties and plans being made. Entertainment Staff DaNija Thomas and Mariana Castaneda asked students at Walnut Grove High School about the plans and costumes they have in mind for this wonderful Halloweekend.
Callie Musgrove shared that she plans to attend a friend’s Halloween party where she’ll hang out with friends and listen to music. When it comes to costumes, Collie is dressing up as Cupid this year. She said, “Pinterest is where I got my inspiration from. I had no clue what to do, so I went to Pinterest.” Like many students, Callie is excited to celebrate Halloween with friends, music, and lots of festive spirit.

Amelia Bethea shared that she’s planning to attend a party with her friends and is looking forward to having a great time. “You know, we just have fun with my friends, and get turnt!” she explained enthusiastically. While Amelia hasn’t completely decided on her costume yet, she’s considering a themed outfit with her boyfriend, a prisoner and a cop. She mentioned there wasn’t a deep inspiration behind the costume choice, saying it was mostly about looking cute and matching with her partner.

Lastly, Carter Waldrip shared that his main plan for this weekend is to hang out with his friends and have a good time. “Umm, to hang out with my friends this weekend and have fun,” he said. Carter mentioned that there will be “a bunch of dancing” and that his costume this year is going to be a bunny. When asked what inspired his choice, he said he got the idea after seeing “a cute TV ad.”

Many students and other people are looking forward to making the most of the holiday weekend by enjoying time with friends, dancing, and showing off their costumes. As Halloween approaches, students across the school are buzzing with excitement, ready for a weekend full of laughter, candy, and creative Halloween looks.

Make sure to enjoy the candy, fun, and costumes! But, most of all, make sure to stay safe this Halloweekend!
