Jethro Victome: Band Idol turned Basketball Star

Jethro Victim is a student athlete at Walnut Grove High School. During the offseason, he is in the marching band. However, during the winter, he plays basketball.

Jethro Victim is a student athlete at Walnut Grove High School. During the offseason, he is in the marching band; however, during the winter, he plays basketball.

He plays the center position in basketball, where he scores left and right using his tall stature. When it comes to marching band, he is an expert on the saxophone in the Walnut Grove Marching Band.

Jethro is a junior at Walnut Grove and has been on both the marching band and the basketball team since he was a freshman.

Jethro started getting into sports when he was younger. He said, "I saw them playing on TV and started playing recreation ball."

For band, it was a different story. He stated, "My mom loved hearing music, so I joined for her." Since Jethro participates in multiple school activities, one would assume it would be hard to choose which one he likes most, but he said the decision was easy. "Basketball for sure. It's more my style. The band is more slow-paced, and I don't really like that."

When it comes to his future, Jethro isn't only thinking about his sports career or his band career. He also has plans for what he wants to major in college. "I plan on going into cybersecurity, either for a big company or for the government."
