Joji's upcoming album Piss in The Wind has many fans on the edge of their seats. This is the first album he'll be releasing in four years, which has awoken his followers. We interviewed some students at WGHS about this long awaited deliverance. Ian Watson (12) is excited for Joji's new release; "Yeah, absolutely. He's been a good study artist for me." He explains that Joji's music is nice and mellow, and is perfect for his study sessions. Ian his favorite album from Joji is Ballads 1. "It's a little basic, but there was a trend back in the Musically or Tiktok days around 2020 and one of the songs from that album was in it. That's why I know it, but I still think it's one of the best."
Sadie Salveson (10) and Noah Herring (12) shared their opinions, as well. Sadie said she was thrilled at the very soon drop. "I think it's going to be really good! I first heard his music around 2023." Noah Herring agreed, noting how excited he was for the release. Amelia Guzman (12) wasn't aware of the album coming out on the 6th, but once informed, she seemed happy about the release of the new album, stating: "I'm excited now.” Amelia has been a fan of Joji for "a year or two,” and she spoke of a memory from a year back, she described riding in a car with one of her good friends. “[My friend] told me to listen to this song. … I was like okay this is gas.” It's obvious Amelia will be listening to Joji’s new album when it drops. With the new album arriving soon, it’s clear that Joji's music continues to reach and resonate with this generation of listeners. The Blog Tags Widget will appear here on the published site.
