Ty Burce
Tyquavious Burce is a current sophomore at Walnut Grove. He wears #11 on the Varsity Boys Basketball team.

Ty first started playing Basketball in elementary school. He started playing for Walnut Grove during his Freshman year, but played for the Youth Middle School boys team during his tenure there. When asked what got him into the sport, he responded, “My mom pushed me to play the sport.”

He usually listens to music and prays to help himself get prepared for a game. Ty also has a regular pre game meal of Huey Magoo’s. The dream college he really wants to get signed to is Duke. He says, “My mom definitely inspires me every day, you know. She fuels me every day.” With the inspiration from his mother, Ty wishes to one day play professionally, either in the NBA or another professional league.

Zy Burce
Zyquavious Burce is also a sophomore on the Varsity team and he struts #4 for the Green and Black.

Just like his brother, Zy started playing Basketball when he was young, specifically 6 years old. Zy says, “My brothers introduced me to Basketball.” He started playing for the school his Freshman year as well. His favorite part about basketball is the techniques that he gets to learn, such as “dribbling and dunking.”

Zy also listens to music to get himself prepared for games. However, he doesn’t have a regular meal that he eats before games. Just as Ty, he wishes to get signed into Duke University and wants to play professionally.

These brothers prove themselves on the court every single day. One can only hope that they will play on the same team in a professional league.
