WGHS student responses ranged. Lillyonna Duckworth (12) approved of the season, “It’s good, I like it a lot more than season three.” Lillyonna mentioned she started watching the show about a year or two ago after seeing it on her feed. “I think it’s cute, It’s probably going to be my favorite season.”
On the other hand, Ryleigh Sirmans (12) felt that the first season was the best. Though, she still shared her love for the newest season. “I think it’s good. I’m happy Benedict is finding love.” She shared that she got introduced to the show during her freshman year, at a friend's house. She enjoyed the developing relationship between Sophie and Benedict. “I think Sophie fits Benedict.” Mrs. Schneider shared that she thinks the plot is repetitive. “The plot reminds me of Cinderella at this point.” She explained that she liked the previous seasons better because season four feels “less original.” She had good things to say about Sophie’s character and enjoys the diverse casting. “I find her [Sophie] charming and easy to root for- I hope she changes Benedict into a better person.” Overall, the students and staff here at WGHS had good criticism and positive feedback on the newest season of the show. The diversity of the cast and new cultures are a highlight for viewers. The continuing drama and romantic themes makes this season a memorable one.
