After a year of teasing, a month of rollout, and a week of delay, underground rage rapper Nettspend released his debut studio album, Early Life Crisis, to mixed reviews from critics and fans alike on March 6, 2026. Let’s see what one WGHS student had to say about Nettspend’s most recent drop.
The student to speak on Early Life Crisis was junior Dallas Taylor, a two-year-long fan of Nettspend since his last mixtape in 2024. He really enjoyed the album for the most part, noting that “it was high energy.” His favorite song was “Sick,” specifically because of the bass-heavy beat produced by CXO, which he claimed was “fire.” Taylor also said, “I’m excited for the concert... It’s gonna be lit,” referring to the upcoming venue Nettspend will be holding at The Eastern in Atlanta on May 7, 2026. The unique rollout and marketing for the album captured Taylor’s attention as well, specifically the sudden and unexpected delay of the album by one week. “The one-week delay made me upset, but in the end, I think it was worth it; it added more hype around it.” Despite having so much love for the album, Taylor did have negative comments about certain parts of the record, specifically the song “Hey, Hello,” saying, “That’s the worst song on the album, and it’s horrible... I hate it.” “Hopskotch,” the Nettspend single released to his YouTube channel on April 18 of last year, would have been a better song to put in the place of “Hey, Hello,” in Taylor’s opinion. What did you think of the album? Early Life Crisis by Nettspend is out on streaming for all to enjoy. The Blog Tags Widget will appear here on the published site.
