I really loved this movie. It was so romantic and I really love how Ruth and Boaz found each other. The part that makes me upset the most is how Syrus got mad at Ruth because she wanted to leave the group because she felt like it wasn’t for her anymore. As it went on it was like Syrus and the 404 needed Ruth because they weren’t making anymore money. She was the voice of the group and that made them mad after she left. It was really sad when Naomi lost her husband and son at the same time. Her whole family was literally taken from her for no reason.

It really touched my heart when Boaz heard Ruth sing, It was like he found the woman of his life. One thing I can say is that Ruth can sing her butt off. Serayah McNeil played Ruth and I really love all the movies she plays in. That's how I knew that this movie was going to be great. I love how they were both there for each other when no one else was. I just feel like Ruth should’ve told the truth about why she wanted to go with Naomi to Tennessee in the first place. It was really cute when Ruth and Boaz were mushing grapes with their feet. I just didn’t like how Ruth ran away rather than talking to others about her problems. The part when Ruth wrote that song for Boaz was so romantic and cute. You could see the tears in his eyes and how after Ruth saw Syrus she started to sing harder. It’s like she was feeling the song and I really loved that.

I was super happy when they locked up Syrus for all the things that he had done to hurt other people. Not only that he was behind the carjacking for Namoi's husband and son. I think he could’ve gone a better route about things then hurting people for no reason whatsoever.

Overall I really enjoyed this movie and I definitely recommend people to watch it. Ruth and Boaz navigate the challenges of raising a family and building a legacy of faith and love, facing the judgments of the community who may still see Ruth as an outsider. If you love happiness and romance with a bit of twist to it then this movie is the right one for you.
