Audrey Cleghorn Enjoys the Smallest Moments on the Diamond

​Audrey Cleghorn (sophomore) is one of the newest varsity softball members and is already helping the team more than some. She plays second base. Audrey has been playing these types of sports for a long time, saying, "Since I was 3 or 4." Audrey explains how she balances everything and why she keeps doing what she's doing.

Audrey balances softball with school by doing the work that she didn't finish in class on the way to her softball games. "Going to games, I work on school work I didn't finish at school." Audrey has played many sports, including volleyball and basketball "I've played volleyball, basketball". However, Audrey said she prefers softball because "It's what I grew up with." While doing all this, she says she keeps her motivation by not taking moments with her friends for granted while on the field  "I stay motivated by not taking the little moments for granted I make with my best friends."

Audrey has experimented with many different sports and landed on softball. She helps the Warriors softball team to keep playing well and winning games for themselves and the school that they represent. The school is proud to have Audrey playing for their team.
