Julian Sease, a senior at WGHS, is a very dedicated student-athlete who has been a big part of the football and track teams. For years, he has been perfecting his skills and setting himself up for his future goals.

Julian says he enjoys playing football and running track because he likes "... being able to be around my friends, competing against other schools, and just doing something I love." Being on the field for years has allowed him to be comfortable with his abilities during games and meets.

When asked about how he prepares for football games and track meets, he says, “Usually by preparing the night before by just watching past game videos, trying to ease my mind with music, and getting enough sleep so I'm energized and in a good mindset.” He prefers mental preparation rather than physical activity to help himself succeed.

Having been involved in many Friday night lights, laps around the track, and moments with the teams, Julian says that some of his favorite memories "... in football was definitely beating Monroe..." and in track, "... I would say winning state."

With his time in high school sadly coming to an end, Julian says that for his future, he wishes to continue his football career. “After high school, I want to be able to play college football or still be involved with it somehow.” His dedication and determination have given him a positive mindset for his life after high school and for his future career.
