Revenge Runs Cold on the Ice Road

I really enjoyed the movie. The one part that really had me shocked and kind of sad was when the great-grandfather was on the bus driving people and this man came in another bus pushing them off the mountain cliff. I feel as if I enjoyed this movie because it was action and it had Liam Neeson in it (a great actor I love to watch). I knew it was going to be good when I saw him on the front cover. I found it funny when Mike McCann (Liam Neeson) was going on the plan and he had his brother's ashes, so the policeman was like “Ummm sir you have to put human residents in a visible container.” So when he went to the bathroom to put it in there, I found that kind of funny because he dropped some of the ashes on the toilet. Along the way to Mount Everest, where he is going to put his brother's ashes, mercenaries attempt to kidnap a young man, Vijjay, whose family is opposing a project being pushed by a corrupt developer.

I wouldn’t want to spoil the movie, but if you like action thrillers with lots of danger, rugged landscapes, and don’t mind cliches or a predictable plot, this one might be entertaining enough. But if you are looking for other things from this movie like stronger character development or “ice roads” then you might feel a little disappointed.

Overall, I give this movie maybe a 7.5/10. I feel like this isn’t Liam Neeson's best work. I felt like it could’ve been a little better, but I really loved the action and fighting scenes that came with it.
