Lily Kate started soccer when she was little. She stated, “I started when I was around 4 years old because my parents wanted me to get into a sport, and I've stuck with soccer since then.” She was asked what position she plays on the soccer field; she plays everywhere on the field but usually sticks with left and right wing.
Lily has gained a lot of memories over the years, but she states that her favorite memory is, “last year when we found out that the boys were also going to play home for our next playoff game; the whole team was excited about it.” Lily Kate stated that her biggest accomplishment is, “just being a leader to the team and someone that the younger girls can look up to.” Sadly, Lily is graduating this year. She states, “I am very sad about it because it might be my last season overall, unless I go to college for it.” Lily is talented on and off the field. She strives on the field by assisting and taking shots, while supporting the other girls to motivate them. Lily has already figured out what she wants to do when she graduates. She states, “I am going to go to the University of Georgia to study psychology.” Good luck in college, Lily, and make Walnut Grove proud! The Blog Tags Widget will appear here on the published site.
