Shogun of Youtube: CoryxKenshin (hot take)

Nevaeh says Cory stood out to her “‘Cause he’s black. That was obviously the first one, [and] he's funny, like it was hard to find gamers that weren’t so serious and boring.”

She says he’s actually really funny, entertaining and he’s good at the games, he plays them on the hardest level and eats them up, and he’s generous. She’s also been a viewer since middle school, “So like 6 or 7 years. I had subscribed before he reached 7 million, so it’s been a while.” 

Nevaeh sheds light on her opinion on Cory’s breaks, “I feel like if you have been subscribed to him for long, then you should know. I really try not to focus on that ‘cause it’s not like he’s really leaving, and he takes breaks pretty often now.” She continues to say she just watches his old videos, “He would never leave without saying something, so whether he takes a year or 5 off I’m gonna watch him regardless.”

She feels like a lot of people say it could hurt his career, but she also feels like it could also help his career ‘cause that makes people wanna watch his old videos more. She ends saying, “That’s why when he comes back his video blows up, and he’s number one trending for days.”

CoryxKenshin currently has 21.6 million subscribers. He’s also come back from taking his longest break of one year due to his manga, and is working on continuing it.
