The long-awaited movie Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse was originally supposed to be released on March 29, 2024. Due to strikes in Hollywood, movie scenes had to be scrapped and the movie was being pushed farther and farther behind. This January, Harrel Jerome leaked that he hasn't even begun to start his part in the new movie. There is no specific release date nor cast but it is predicted for 2027, making fans impatient and agitated with the long wait. Students share their thoughts on how they feel about this matter and when they think the movie will be released.

Isabelle Braswell (9) shares her frustration. “Why set a release date if you're not going to release it? It’s so pointless.” She continues, “I like Spiderman but this is ridiculous.”

Miles Brown (10), a huge fan of the Marvel series says, “I love Spiderman a lot, and I'm absolutely upset about it. I think they are going to keep postponing it because of the beef between the co-stars. I'm excited for it to come out though, I love all the Spiderman movies.

“Spiderman is my favorite Marvel superhero” Kennedi Craine (10) explains, “Although, I like the live-action movies better. So the cartoon isn’t really a big deal to me, I can wait a little longer for the movie to come out. I think that it will probably be released in the middle of this year or maybe at the end of 2025.

Ja'Liyah Parks (10) shares her hot take on the movie, “In my opinion, the Spider-Verse series was really good but slightly cringe. I think that this one will be better though since they have postponed it so much. The artistry will be a lot better because they have been working on it for so long. Plus, our technology has upgraded since 2023 so the graphics should look better. Because of that, I don't mind that it hasn’t been released yet. It needed improvement and more time anyway.
