Girls Varsity vs. The Red Devils
The girls varsity also put up a hard fight against the Red Devils, ending with a score of 1-4. Junior Kaylee Hyde expressed her feelings on the whole game, saying, “Even though it was a hard game, it was very fun and the team was able to work together a lot.”

When asked about the loss and how the team played, Hyde replied, “I think everyone played to their best ability especially with how [Loganville] were during the game… there were just a few moments that could've been better during the matches, but overall we all tried our best.” She mentioned that the team could have communicated more in doubles and worked on their shots to be able to defeat Loganville.

Though the Warriors fell to the Devils this time, their determination and teamwork shone through every set. With lessons learned and spirits high, the Warriors are more ready than ever to come back stronger in the matches ahead.

Boys Varsity vs. The Red Devils
The boys team played their best and ended with a score of 0-5. For some of the players, this was a hard school to play against.

Senior Lucas Bell mentioned, “We were playing against a guy that could slap the ball at like 300 miles per hour, and whenever he slapped it on the ground it would go so high over our heads that we had no chance of even reaching it.”

He also expressed his thoughts on how the team played. “I think we all played very well. It is a whole new team, so we're all trying to learn very quickly, but at the rate that we’re going, we are advancing very fast.” Just because the Warriors got knocked down doesn't mean they will stop trying!

Lucas explained that the team had some improvements that could be made to better their plays for the next game. “We could have learned from our mistakes a little bit more and not [fed] into their rude remarks, because they were pretty much being mean the entire time and we were feeding into it, but we definitely could’ve learned, [seen] how they were hitting the ball, figured out where to hit it, and definitely [been] the bigger [people] by not feeding back into the environment and energy they were giving off.”
