(MaxPreps). Coach Larimer, Head Coach for the Varsity Volleyball team, spoke about this year’s team compared to last year’s team. “You have to adjust every year because you have different kids [on the roster]. We lost six seniors last year and we’ve got one senior this year. When you talk about seniors, you’re talking about a big group of leadership and experience. Experience is big and they make a big difference... We’re a little younger this year, but we’ve still got a great group that I’m working with. Some games have not gone our way, which, that happens. The record is not great but I think we’re a little better than the record…. It’s just a different team that we’ve got to adjust to every year….” Lena Battenfield, 10, talks about how the team can prepare for a playoff push with 12 games left, including a play-date on the 21st. “I think definitely working together like we currently do and keeping our energy up the whole game [will help us].” The Warriors have a "play-date" tournament on September 21st, 2024. The Warriors will play Loganville Christian Academy Lions, Barrow Arts and Sciences Academy, Westminster Christian Academy Lions, and the Cedar Shoals Jaguars.
