WGHS Reopens the Treasured Warrior Warehouse

Walnut Grove High School's Warrior Warehouse is open once again for the 2026/2027 school year. A good variety of students and staff are glad that the store is back open for the year.

Walnut Grove High School's Warrior Warehouse is open once again for the 2026–2027 school year. A wide variety of students and staff are glad that the store has reopened.

The Reopening of the WGHS Warrior Warehouse
The WGHS Warrior Warehouse reopened on August 12, 2026, and immediately started generating high sales due to its great selection of food, drinks, and clothing. The staff reported having so many sales and customers since opening that they have had trouble staying stocked.

Reasons to Visit the WGHS Warrior Warehouse
The WGHS Warrior Warehouse has many options to choose from, including drinks, candy, snacks, clothing, ice cream, and more! Every day, students drop by to buy their favorite items, such as Sour Patch Kids, Mango Monster energy drinks, cinnamon pretzels, Alani drinks, and many other popular snacks. The store allows students who don't want school lunch—or who just want to grab a quick snack—an easy and efficient way to get food. Even students who bring lunch or eat school lunch go to the Warrior Warehouse to grab a drink or snack. Many students noted that while all the vending machines carry the same items, the Warrior Warehouse offers a much wider variety of options.

What Students Think About the WGHS Warrior Warehouse
Morgan Stephens, a junior who has been at Walnut Grove for three years, shared her thoughts on the store. She said she loves it and prefers it over regular school food, naming "Miss V" chips as her favorite item. Throughout her high school years, she has always enjoyed having the store around. One difference she noticed this year is the addition of new ramen noodles, which she said are very good and recommended everyone try.

Wade Thompson, a freshman at WGHS, visits the Warrior Warehouse every single day. His favorite items to buy are the pretzels and Monster energy drinks. Wade mentioned that he wishes the store were open all day so students could grab a snack between class changes, especially when they aren't able to eat in the morning or stop by a gas station before school.

Emmanuel Soley, a senior who also visits every day, loves the snack selection—specifically Sour Skittles and Vanilla Fat Boy ice cream sandwiches. Emmanuel said he would love to see hot food choices added in the future, such as fries, nachos, Lunchables, and fried chicken. He also noted how much the store's customer base has grown over the last four years.

What People Want to See Added to the Warrior Warehouse
Eight people were surveyed at random about what items they would like to see added to the shelves. Five out of the eight requested more Monster flavors—especially White Monster Energy—so students can buy them before they sell out. Other popular requests included slushies, a wider variety of chip brands, and melted cheese for the pretzels. Multiple students also asked staff for diet and gluten-free snack choices, while Dr. Brantley suggested stocking basic school supplies for students who might need them.

Working at the WGHS Warrior Warehouse
Running the store provides students with valuable opportunities to develop communication skills, marketing strategies, and real-world experience in business management. When asked about his favorite part of running the store, staff member Jackson Conley said, "I get to meet new people, and it's a class that gives you credit while helping with business skills." Similarly, manager Destiny Dyers enjoys gaining practical customer service and management experience. Overall, the staff loves the fast-paced environment and getting to see new faces every day.
