WGHS Signing Day: Senior Football Players Sign Up for Their Future

Jackson Andrews, Cameron Clark, Jack Moss, and Jake Moss, senior football players at Walnut Grove High School, officially signed with colleges on Wednesday, February 5th.

Jack Moss signed at Reinhardt University and he stated, “It feels great. I'm signing Wednesday, and I'm signing at Reinhardt University to play football.” The decision of this school was “Honestly pretty close, it was a good deal with me going in there and actually getting playing time. The development is really good.” Jack said he would give credit to “[His] parents, they spent a lot of money on food and the coaches teaching me all the work.” One piece of advice he would give to underclassmen would be to “stay consistent and don't let anything distract you.”

Jake Moss also signed at Reinhardt University with his brother, “It feels pretty good- I had multiple offers and this one just felt right. And it's close to home.” This particular decision was made “because it's a welcoming program and they offer me good playing time right after high school.” Who Jake would give credit to “God, family, and coaches.” He would advise underclassmen, "Don't get distracted and keep your head in the game.”

Cameron Clark signed at Point University, ”It feels like something got lifted off my chest, moving on with the off season for college.” He decided on Point University because, “[His] official visit felt a lot like here, so I kinda felt right.” A piece of advice he would give his underclassmen is “stay consistent."

Jackson Andrews plans to go the Air Force for football and to become pilot, “They offered me a year ago, I liked the coach, all the coaches I talked to were awesome.” He gives credit to “all the coaches I had along the way, my parents played a big role in it and kept my head on straight.” One piece of advice Jackson would give to his underclassmen is “Love the game.”
