STUDENTS:
Who is your favorite teacher?

• Graham Dillard: My favorite teacher is Mrs. Bermudez.
• Kamiah Suttles: My favorite teacher is Mrs. Suttles.
• Samantha Stephens: My favorite teacher is Mrs. Seale.

What do you like about that teacher?

• Graham Dillard: Mrs. Bermudez teaches really well, and I learn easily in her class.
• Kamiah Suttles: She gives me free food when I don't have lunch and I'm hungry.
• Samantha Stephens: Mrs. Seale makes learning fun, which is hard to do when you teach ELA.

Why do those things stand out to you?

• Graham Dillard: It just makes school easier when you have a good teacher.
• Kamiah Suttles: She gives me food when I don't have any lunch money in my account, which most teachers wouldn't do.
• Samantha Stephens: She makes learning fun, and it's just easy to remember.

 TEACHERS:
How do you feel that the student said you were their favorite teacher?

• Mrs. Bermudez: "That's awesome! I love teaching Advanced World History and AP Human. I love having Graham in class; he always participates, and he is full of questions. I like how he is engaged in the class."
• Mrs. Suttles: "I love that so much; it makes me feel very appreciated. She is such a good student and such a joy to teach."
• Mrs. Seale: "I think that's very sweet, and I love her so much. She is super kind and is just overall such a good student; she's my girl."

Why do you like that student?

• Mrs. Bermudez: "Graham gets his work done and is not afraid to speak up when he doesn't understand the materials. He loves history, and it's hard finding students who can find fun in learning about the past."
• Mrs. Suttles: "We have a really strong connection because I taught her in seventh grade, so I've enjoyed getting to know her through the years."
• Mrs. Seale: "She gets her work done and is always straightforward when she needs help. She'll come up to me and say, 'Hey, I don't get this,' and we can talk about it."

Why do those things stand out to you?

• Mrs. Bermudez: “It's really nice to have a student that has a background and can engage. Graham knows the content but is still learning more every day.”
• Mrs. Suttles: “This stands out to me because a lot of students you will teach one year and not see them again. It's been nice to see how she's grown up and see how she has changed.”
• Mrs. Seale: "It's nice to know I can end my day with a student who knows what is going on. She's really sarcastic and funny and will always understand what I am saying.”
