What’s Your Order?: Starbucks/McDonalds/Chick-fil-A

We asked a few students in WGHS about their favorite orders from either Starbucks, McDonalds or Chick fil a.

Whether it’s a Starbucks run before first block or a  quick run to Chick-fil-a after practice, everyone has that order; the one you get every single time and refuse to change. A few students in WGHS spilled theirs, and what orders give them the ICK!

Amelia Guzman keeps it classy at McDonald’s, “My go to McDonald’s order is a double cheeseburger, no pickles and a 4pc nugget with sweet and sour sauce.” She gets it one a month and “it doesn’t vary- it’s always the same,” she said when asked if she switches it up here and there. Amelia admits that she strongly judges people who “people who get fish-o-filets or extra pickles.”

A sophomore, Marlee Mathis, swears by the strawberry açai refresher from Starbucks. “I get it like one every 2 weeks,” she said. Marlee never changes her order; it’s always “the same thing” and states that she judges “people who drink black coffee.”

Carter Waldrip states that he switches it up between “a caramel Frappuccino from Starbucks or a Chick-fil-A sandwich meal.” He gets it “three or four times a month,” When it comes to Starbucks, he sometimes gets “the strawberry acai lemonade refresher.”

Aila Cerovic, a senior, shares that her go-to order from Chick fil is “a chicken sandwich meal with a diet lemonade”, and she gets it at least, “once a week or more”. Her order never changes as she states, “My order is always the same, like absolutely nothing changes.” When it comes to being judgmental, “the people who get the salad with the boiled egg in it” always rub her the wrong way. 

Ashlynn Melton loved “the pink drink” from Starbucks, and she gets it “...almost every week, maybe every other week.” Ashlynn stays consistent with her order, “I always get the same thing” and she dislikes it when people “mix a bunch of stuff together” when it comes to their drink, or “overdo it or make it like super super sweet for no reason.”

No matter your order; whether it’s a Frappuccino, a big mac or nuggets; everyone has that one order that’s a big part of their day and keeps their life in order. All in all everyone has different tastes and different preferences when it comes to food.
