Natonya Clinger School/local news junior editor Natonya Clinger is a junior at Walnut Grove High School. For as long as she can remember, she has wanted to be a photographer, and she always found it really easy to write essays and articles on different things. By her freshman year, she knew she wanted a career in journalism. She hopes to become a journalist after high school and travel around the country taking pictures and telling the world what's going on today.

Ruby Aderhold School News Ruby is a senior at Walnut Grove. She has many hobbies including painting, crocheting, walking, and spending time in nature. She has two sisters, and a very loving family. Willow, her pet rabbit, is well loved by her.

Cassidy Bailey Sports Cassidy Bailey is a senior at Walnut Grove. She plays the flute in the Marching Band. She is also involved in the Walnut Grove Drama productions. She loves to listen to music and read. She loves animals- her favorite pet is her cat Junior. This is her first year on VIRIDIAN, and she is so excited to learn something new.

Ane'J Beers Sports Ane'J Beers is a Junior on the WGHS newspaper team. She plays varsity on the WGHS Tennis team, and is coming up on her third season with the team. She is the President of KEY Club, and is currently SGA Class Rep. After high school, she plans to get a degree in Biology, and is currently working on getting her CNA certification through the healthcare program. Her favorite movie is Twilight, and she plans to move to Washington one day.

Dylan Calvo sports Dylan Calvo is a Senior on the WGHS Newspaper team. He likes soccer and music. His favorite food is pizza but is always open to trying new things. He loves his family and takes pride in trying to meet new people. He is a very calm and collected person that likes to talk when talking about something he likes. He is excited to be on this team and learn something new every day.

Ty Cameron Sports Ty Cameron is a sophomore on the WGHS Newspaper team. He works in the sports category for the newspaper. He mostly enjoys being by himself, but he is always willing to help and work with others. He primarily wants to go to college for computer tech and coding, but is always willing to try new things. His favorite type of foods are fruits, but mostly he prefers blueberries, cherries, blackberries, grapes, and apples. His favorite fast food place is Wendy's.

Brayden Downey school news Brayden is a senior here at WGHS. He was a member of the inaugural Viridian Staff and has returned for another go. He enjoys spending time with his dog who is the center of his life. He's a photographer and certified web developer. Kelsey Edmondson School news Kelsey Edmondson is a sophomore at Walnut Grove High School. Kelsey likes to watch comedy movies and documentaries. She also likes to hangout with her friends, and she likes reading about news that is happening in her area. Kelsey also likes to go to amusement parks.

Brooklyn Hayes Sport Brooklyn Hayes is a senior on the WGHS Newspaper team. She plays varsity softball and flag football and has been involved with these teams since her freshman year. She recently got her CNA certification and is looking to go to college to get a degree in nursing. She loves caring for others and spending time with her friends and family.

Nevaeh Patrick Entertainment Nevaeh Patrick is a Junior at Walnut Grove High School. She loves to crochet and read books in her free time. She takes pride in all of her work and aims to go above and beyond what is expected. She enjoys interacting with others along with making new friends. She has an immense love for video games, especially the Sims 4.

Brylee Sanders school news Brylee Sanders is a sophomore at Walnut Grove High School. She has always enjoyed art and reading, and always loved writing stories in English class. She hopes to go to college and afterwards travel the world while meeting new people.

Colton Wise Entertainment Colton wise is a 15 year old sophomore who enjoys the games “Super Meat Boy” and “The Binding of Isaac: REPENTANCE” a lot. It’s his first year here in the VIRIDIAN staff. He works in the entertainment department here, and he also can draw using a mouse.
