Holiday Q&A

Here at WGHS students and staff are excitedly gearing up for the holidays and answering questions about their family traditions and holiday favorites.

Q: What do the holidays mean to you?
A: “I just take it as like a very deep way to connect with your family, like you don’t really spend time with your friends on Christmas day. And it’s like a different feeling, like that warm, happy feeling. You wake up together in the morning on Christmas.”

Q: What's on your wishlist?
A: ”Everything. Everything I see on the internet I want it. But I really want them new Apple Headphones, like that honestly is real high up there.”

Q: Do you have a favorite festive song?
A: “My favorite Christmas song is Justin Bieber the remix Drummer Boy, pa-rum-pa-pum-pum, [she sang]”

Q: Are you excited about the break/what are you doing over the break?
A: “I don’t know, probably just chilling at home, if I find a party maybe go party a little bit.” 

Nurse Lauren Bingham
Q: What are some of your holiday traditions?
A: “Okay so we usually go over to my grandparents, my kids' great-grandparents, for Christmas eve and open presents. Then we go to my in-laws to open presents, so it’s presents on top of presents. And on Christmas day we wake up, have kind of a lazy day in our PJ’s and open our presents from Santa.”

Q: Do you have a favorite festive movie?
A: “Movies in particular, Elf, we just watched it in the theater, it was the 20 year re-showing. But Home Alone is probably my favorite.”

Q: Do you believe in Santa? Why or why not?
A: “Of course I believe in Santa, if you don’t believe you don’t receive guys!”

Overall the people at Walnut Grove seem to be excited about the upcoming holidays and the opportunity to spend time with their loved ones!
