You ever wanted to go to an arcade, but hated having credits dictate your game time? Well don’t worry, Flashback Games has you covered!
Flashback games is a highly niche (and by extension, underrated) arcade that I believe deserves more attention than it gets! The second you step inside you’re greeted by possibly the most passionate worker I’ve ever met. The staff is always willing to help with any problem you have, not minding it in the slightest. ![]()
When you get the pass to go into the arcade itself, you’d think it’d be ordinary stuff with your classic games and niche arcades, right?
Well, that is partially true- there’s a classic, standard arcade. But it gets even better past that! They have classic consoles, such as the NES, Sega Genesis, SNES, the GameCube, and the Nintendo 64! Alas, my friends, it doesn’t end there. They also have some other consoles you can find before getting into the standard arcade! A modified Wii, a Wii U, and two playstations, all up and ready for your enjoyment! They even have a two VR headsets. It’s amazing how much stuff they have! Not to mention, when going around the place, you’ll find such neat decorations that really show how they’re passionate about all they have to offer here, with collectables and art alike, all relating to your favorite characters. It’s such a charming experience. This is a place fit for fun little get-togethers, and for the parents, birthday parties for their youngins, you could even play the entirety of famous games like WarioWare, Sonic CD, Paper Mario, and even Earthworm Jim if that’s your forte, but if you’re ever feeling a little bit competitive, you could bring a friend along and play games such as Super Smash Brothers Melee, and Kirby Airriders. If you go to arcades to win prizes, don’t worry. You can just buy the prizes you wish for! On your way out or on your way in, you’ll notice a small little store by the entrance. ![]()
It has a lot of merchandise relating to, you guessed it, games! (I myself bought a Blue Yoshi on my way out.) There’s also a bunch of snacks n such, accompanied by vending machines, if that’s what you wish for instead.
Generally, Flashback Games is a niche and nice little arcade in Loganville with a charming atmosphere that really shows their passion towards the games present here, and I would really recommend you head down there, maybe even with some friends!
