Now, just about everyone loves Halloween, right? Some may not be for the scares, but with others, scares are all it’s about! With the FNaF Movie’s upcoming release at the end of this month, we figured we’d talk about some of the games! Not just any official games, though. No. We’re gonna shine some light on the content made by fans!
One Night at Flumpty’s Now, the first game we’re going to delve into features an egg who can transcend the plot! That’s right, Flumpty Bumpty has come around to play, but he won’t play nice. One Night at Flumpty’s by Jonochrome features Flumpty, and his friends, Birthday Boy Blam, Grunkfuss The Clown, The Beaver, and of course, Redman. One Night at Flumpty’s is pretty standard all over, one night that comes with a hard mode (cleverly titled “Hard-Boiled Mode”). It mostly copies the FNaF 1 gameplay style, but it does it in a unique and refreshing way. Flumpty himself has no set path, the goof just goes where he wants! Though he only shows up through the left door. Birthday Boy Blam goes to the door on the right of your screen, him and Flumpty both performing similarly to Bonnie and Chica in the original FNaF. The Beaver is similar to that of Foxy from FNaF, having a set camera that he eventually runs out from, only this time he enters via the right door, instead of the left door as foxy does. Now, there are new additions to the game loop, which is what Redman and Grunkfuss bring to the table. Redman can be found coming into the office via the left door, but any camera he’s located on will stop working, making it more difficult to locate the others if you don’t pay good attention to your surroundings. Grunkfuss is the most unique out of the crew, as you progress through the night and continue to check your cameras, you’ll notice that Grunkfuss will begin climbing through a hole in your office. That’s right, Grunkfuss will climb into your office the more you use your cameras, use it sparingly! ONaF will always be one of my personal favorite FNaF fangames, I like it when they have a challenge to them. Tyke and Sons Lumber Co. Now, our next one is a tad longer than the rest, but still good nonetheless! Tyke and Sons Lumber Co. by Mixlas is a fanmade sequel to Scott Cawthon’s Chipper and Sons Lumber Co. The protagonist of Chipper and Sons, Tyke, has taken over his father’s business and renamed it. We now take the role of Mike, Tyke’s son. Tyke makes his son do all of these grindy tasks, like chopping trees down and planting more to chop down, building animatronics, going out to see family and friends, etc. It’s all kinda boring, but it mimics the Chipper and Sons gameplay well. When you finish your tasks for the day, the game takes a turn, to say the least. You’re brought into the living room of Tyke’s home at night. Behind you is your bedroom, there are 3 windows in each other direction. Remember the animatronics I mentioned earlier? Yeah, they’re trying to kill you. On night 1, the Chipomat 1.0 comes around to peak in. You have to run to the left or right window whenever you hear a knocking sound, you close the blinds to get the Chipomat 1.0 to leave. Once you get enough sleep insurance, you can head on to bed. As you can see, this game not only mimics the Chipper and Sons gameplay style well, it mimics the Five Nights at Freddy’s 4 style as well, making for one real good game. As you progress through the days, each night will include more threats. The Chipomats are really simple, just close the blinds on them. Springcrab requires you to flicker your lights left and right at the front window, same applying to Killtimber, or Nightmare Chipper. Seabilly, or Seabill.EXE is simple enough, when you hear a voice cue, make sure you’re safe from everyone else, then turn off the lights. He’ll pass by. Night 5 is entirely unique, but I won’t spoil it ;), you should try it. Five Nights at Wario’s Deluxe Of course, Chipper and Sons gameplay isn’t for everyone. Maybe you’re an old fan of FNaF and its fangames. If so, Five Nights at Wario’s Deluxe by WwwWario is just for you! FNAW DX is a classic officially remastered, made to be entirely better! FNAW DX is generally, a simple FNaF 1 clone. What’s the difference? It’s way harder! Power management is a lot more tight, lights drain a high level of power, and everything is a lot more frantic! A new mechanic is also present. Peach will now go into the catacombs under the establishment you work in, and try to make her way to your office. You’ll have to search on the cameras and listen for her, to send her back you have to flash her with light. I love FNAW DX to near death. It’s genuinely such a charming fangame, and I’d really suggest checking it out yourself if you haven’t! Overall, there are a lot of great fangames out there produced by the clearly large fandom of FNaF. There are more fangames I wish to include such as Playtime with Percy, The Return to Bloody Nights, and Baby’s Nightmare Circus. The Blog Tags Widget will appear here on the published site.
