What would a school lunch menu look like if it was created by students? Warriors within Walnut Grove high school share what meal they would make to modify school lunches.

Seniors:
Zackary Ford: Zack would make “sub sandwiches because they are quick to make and healthy with free bottled water:” Reagan McLean: After traveling to Jamaica, she would like for the school to try Jamaican food, like jerk chicken. Maleek Wong: oxtail and rice and peas because he is Jamaican, and he says, “Most people have only tried curry chicken, jerk chicken, and beef patties.” Haley Caroll: Haley stated she would make a seafood boil because “All pretty girls eat seafood.”
Juniors:
Kaylee Fagan: Kaylee Fagan said she would make chicken basil pasta because “It’s one of my favorite go-to meals.” Drew Adams: “I’d make steak because it’s filling, and the school can afford it.” Cameron Mitchem: “[Chicken Alfredo is] my favorite food.” Victoria Raphael: “[Creamy Chicken Pasta is] really good and everyone should have it.” Ally Lofton: “I like frosting cupcakes.”
Sophomores:
Jayden Raney: Jayden Raney would want quesadillas, “because it slaps.” Ashlyn Chafin: “I love Caesar salad [with grilled chicken] because it's really good.” Macie Mcduffie: Chick-Fil-A nuggets with avocado lime ranch because it's the most delicious thing on this planet.” Matthew Bovenkirk: “[Routini pasta] tastes good.”
Freshmen:
Amrielle Lavia: “I think [Jamaican Curry Chicken] is really good, and one of my favorite Jamaican dishes.” Nicolus McNair: “I think everyone would like [Chicken Teriyaki and Fried rice], and I can actually make it.” Abygaelle Desil: She would want chicken alfredo because “I love pasta!” Brisa Aponte: "[Spaghetti is] my favorite meal.” The Blog Tags Widget will appear here on the published site.
