Office Appreciation

The teacher and students at Walnut Grove expressed their gratitude and appreciation for the office staff this week.

​Teachers like Mr. Walker greatly appreciate the office staff here at Walnut Grove. Walker mentioned, “I’ve been to a lot of schools, and [our] front office is the most welcoming, professional, efficient office that I’ve ever worked [with]. They’re a good bunch of people down there.” He believes that they do a lot for the teaching staff and “are very helpful.” Walker went on to say, “for visitors to the school, as I did when I came for the interview here for the position, they’re the first people you see so [they’re] the first impression.” Overall, Mr. Walker is “much impressed” with the office staff here at Walnut Grove and appreciates everything they do not just for him but the students as well. 

Similarly, a student at Walnut Grove, Thomas Grace, also appreciates the office staff at Walnut Grove. He stated, “Yes,  because they always try to make sure I have what I need, always make sure that the best gets out of the students, and make sure I graduate.” In addition, Thomas expressed the impact of the office staff saying, “They're always smiling and happy and fun to talk to and just make your day better.”

Collectively, both students and teachers alike appreciate the office staff and everything they do.
