Reid Fagan, a senior on the Varsity Football team is the quarterback for the Grove and in most people's eyes the glue to the team.
by Cassidy Bailey and Dylan Calvo
Reid has been playing football since he was six and decided to start playing football because “[He's] always been a kid who's been drawn to sports; [he] love football.” Although it was his senior year, the football team did not do as good as people expected. Reid looked on the bright side of things “I wouldn’t say it went bad but, it didn’t go as good as we hoped.”
Coach Andrews, the head coach for WGHS Varsity football team, was asked if Reid is one the top players this season and he responded, “He's been a leader, he does things the right way and has played well all year long.” With both the coaches and players in approval of Reid: we include the future for The Grove here saying that Reid has left an impact on the team. Senior night went differently for everyone, some got emotional while others held a strong face. Reid, who walked that night with his sister, said “Senior night was not as emotional as I expected it to be.” Reid, playing his last home game, had a lot of favorite memories, but he said his favorite has to be, “Scoring my first touchdown.” While playing football has always been a big part of his life; Reid always puts his religion first as he likes to “Keep faith in God” while he's on the field. Even though he is still undecided on a college, he hopes that wherever he goes he can continue his future for football and life there. The Blog Tags Widget will appear here on the published site.
