Unpopular Opinion: Best Spiderman (Op/Ed)

This is the definitive take on who is the best Spider-Man... change my mind.

There is no doubt that the Spider-Man franchise has made its mark in the film industry, starting with the marvel comics, to the movies, all the way to the video games. With there being multiple versions of this super hero, the famous question still burns in people's minds. Who is the best Spider-Man?

Andrew Garfield is the best Spider-Man. No one can change my mind.

My two main reasons for this pick are because...
  a) he is attractive
  b) he has the best suit out of the entire franchise

Now these reasons might sound unserious. However, as a viewer of all the franchise movies, people look at these things, as well.

Andrew Garfield being attractive is just a bonus. His character was a cute and loveable one. Unfortunately, he didn’t give me Peter Parker vibes. Since he is a pretty boy, it could take away from the ‘nerdy’ aspect of the original comic book character. But I think it adds to his personality. Throughout the movies that he’s starred in, I appreciate his character development. 

Although, I do prefer his first movie [The Amazing Spider-Man] over the second one [The Amazing Spider-Man 2]. The first one just hit differently for me, his love for Gwen was really touching. You really felt how much he cared for her, especially at the end when he has to deal with tragedy concerning Gwen and her family. 

His suit was the best one that I've seen, ever. The little intricate details of his suit are truly what makes it the best. Everything just looks darker and more realistic. The eyes are my favorite part of his attire. The reflective aspect gives it a mature look. I think looking mature is also very important because his character is a teenager that discovered he has special abilities. Along with the need of people to take him seriously, it's best that it doesn't look comical. 

Andrew’s cameo feature in Spider-Man: No Way Home was a refreshing shock to every person in the theater. I loved Tobey Maguire's appearance in the movie, too.  

I have nothing against the other Spider-Man actors, I think they’re all amazing. Andrew Garfield has just always been my favorite. And It will continue to stay that way.
