As the Walnut Grove warriors took on East Forsyth in a basketball game Friday, Jan 27th, they came out with a win (68-42), and Terrance Barimah brought some positives and points of growth to light.
Terrance is a 6’4” basketball player who plays two positions. He can play shooting guard and small forward. Terrance stated, “I dropped 4 points that game." On the positive side, he said, “We were really focused and ready. We were more than confident that we were going to win this game.” He also stated, for his own positivity, “I bring a lot of energy and excitement into the team... We all get each other hype and ready for the game and make sure that we are in the right mindset.” He decided that an individual growing point was that he could have done better shooting the ball more efficiently. Team-wise, Terrance felt that “the team could have done better [by] being more ball strong and passing it more because, without these tactics, it can lead to turnovers.” Overall, Terrance and his team are excellent and robust; they have formed bonds and will continue to grow together into the post season.
