Zendaya Unfollows Tom Holland

WGHS students give their insight on the situation between Tom Holland and Zendaya.

On January 3rd, 2024, Zendaya unfollowed her boyfriend, Tom Holland. Walnut Grove High School students give their thoughts and opinions on the situation and how they feel about the two. 

Adrian Garcia (Senior) was surprised to hear about it, “I found it shocking that she unfollowed him, but it wasn’t only him. She unfollowed everyone. I guess she’s just taking a break.” He continues,  “I don’t think anything is happening. I think it’s just a bunch of miscommunication between medias.”  Adrian expresses his adoration for the couple, “I loooveeee them. I love me some Spider-Man.” 

Sadie McManus (Junior) admits, “I didn’t know she unfollowed him, and I honestly don’t care. I guess they broke up.” With a small laugh, she finished with, “It might be because he’s too short.”

James Burke (Junior) states that he was also surprised about Zendaya unfollowing Tom Holland. “I knew they had been together for a while, so I wondered if they broke up or something… but Tom Holland said they didn’t, so I don’t know. Maybe just taking a break. Or it was to get attention for a movie…” James finishes off by commenting,  “I only really know them from Spider-Man, and Zendaya from Euphoria. They’re cute, I guess.” 

Despite what the students of Walnut Grove- and the rest of the world- think, Tom Holland has come out and told everyone that he and Zendaya are not, in fact, broken up. The Spider-Man couple still stays together and strong. They like to keep their relationship separate from the light of fame, but they are still together.
